How To Do leg press calf raise

  1. To perform this exercise all you need is a calf leg press machine and some weight plates.
  2. Lie on the leg press machine.
  3. Put your toes (just toes) on the end of the machine as shown in the figure below.
  4. Unlock the machine and exert pressure with your toes, just toes so your foot is hanging off.
  5. Now come up hyperextend squeeze the top. Let it come back and then squeeze again.
  6. Repeat steps and perform the expected number of repetitions.

Common Mistake Done During leg press calf raise:-

1.      People bend their knees which is wrong.

2.      Improper placement of toes may lead to injury in the ankle.

3.       Performing exercise very fast which is wrong and can also be very dangerous as the machine is only held by your toes.

4.      Joining of heal while performing the exercise which can produce injury in the knees.
